Eugene, Oregon (AP) -. Nonprofit groups working Scores Syria and Myanmar in Lane County has to offer.

Reports Register-Guard (https://is.gd/zhp8FN) and the Catholic Community Services of Lane County total of 10 people from three families come to Eugene with their country of origin. Two of the families are from Syria and eastern Myanmar. Every family has a relative who lives in Eugene.

Executive Director of the Catholic Community Services Tom Mulhern said at up to 35 refugees, the county this year could occur later.

The United States accepted refugees from Syria due to the ongoing war and Myanmar due to the political repression and the ongoing violence.
